IONISATION SMOKE ALARM C/W ALKALINE BATT BACK UP.
The Kidde Slick wireless smoke alarm 1SFW (formerly 1SF23/9hi) was developed specifically for social and private housing projects. With it's unique fast fit base that has screwless terminals (each alarm still needs connection to a local lighting circuit but interconnecting is wireless) and a slot-in fit, installation and removal of the smoke alarm takes seconds. The features are endless but this 230V alarm becomes wireless with the simple addition of the wireless base. It can even be tested or hushed with the optional remote control.
In day to day use, there are green and red LEDs as indicators, separate hush and test buttons, auto reset afer activation, latching LED to identify the initiating alarm and up to 6 months operation on the backup battery in the event of mains failure.
The Slick 1SFW (formerly 1SF23/9hi) is the ionisation smoke alarm for fast-flaming fires and is suitable for hallways and landings but keep well away from kitchens or bathrooms. The Slick wireless can be mixed with Kidde Slick, Kidde CO and Kidde Firex hard-wired alarms.

Fixing requires two little screws and wallplugs (included) to screw to ceiling and connection into a local lighting circuit with the screwless terminal blocks.
